Holiday Cheer

Wow, it has been some time since I've last posted anything. Well the summer flew by and now it's already holiday time.

I'm eagerly taking on those holiday gift projects, so don't wait until it's Christmas eve to place your order.

Spring Flowers have arrived

Finally spring has arrived in MN! Finished up an adorable baby blanket while sitting outside and enjoying the weather. That's the way to sew, on the deck while basking in the sun!

Memory Quilts Finished

Since my last post, I have now finished all five memory quilts for a family who recently lost their father. It was such a nice way to honor their father's memory by incorporating pieces of his clothing into quilts specifically made for each one of his children. The other unique element in designing these quilts was to find material that linked this person's memory of them to their father. See some of the different panels or blocks within each quilt as examples of this.

Now, looking for my next project. Hopefully, more t-shirt pillows for those die hard Twins fans!
